So, as many of you have already read on the other hundreds of blogs...we got snow baby! And alot of it! At first it was just the snow flurries and we didnt think it would stick, but we were wrong! It was a winter wonderland! In fact, it snowed so bad that Jake left work to come home, which is normally a 15 min drive, and 2 hours later he called me to tell me he was stuck! His car got stuck in the snow! Luckily my brother in law John has a big 4wheel drive truck and came to help him! He towed Jake home and after over 2 1/2 hours Jakey was finally home! (Poor John was spotted towing Jake and got asked to tow about 4 other people! Sorry John but thanks a ton! We owe ya!) So, it started snowing that morning and was still snowing when we went to bed that night! My kids LOVED it! Especially Ryleigh! She has been asking for it to snow since October so she was so excited! She never once complained about it being cold or that she was wet or anything! She basically lived outside! For 2 days straight the kids woke up and asked to go outside so we got snow clothes on ( what little we had) and went out and played. Then we would come in after a while (only b/c Jax wanted to..not on Rys request!) and 30 min later after they thawed they wanted to do it all over again! And dont worry...we did. It never snows here, especially like this, so I was not about to tell them they couldnt go play in it! I let them go out whenever they wanted for however long. I knew it wouldnt last long and I wanted them to enjoy it! And boy they did! We had snow ball fights, built large snowman, built forts, all kinds of stuff! It was great and we hope it snows again real soon!

wow amanda and jake, its so funny seeing those kids in snow clothes as opposed to the shorts, tees and flip flops. looks like they had alot of fun. thanks for the pics. love mom

Fabulous!!! I'm glad you are all loving it! We are too. We will post some more pictures tomorrow, I'm not sure how many inches we have now but it just keeps snowing. :) Wish we could all enjoy the snow together!!!!

It was so fun! We got back from UT and Colette was asking me where it all went. She was so sad. She kept telling me Santa better bring some more for Christmas.... it was super cute! Love the snow man!!!

Actually I think that's the best part, is that it didn't stick around long at all. It was just right!
